This agreement made this____ day of _____________ between
breeder________________________ and buyer________________________. Hereinafter
will refer to as breeder and buyer.
1.The Buyer agrees to buy from the Breeder the following cat upon the terms and
conditions of this agreement:
Breed: Ragdoll, Registration NO. TICA pending________________________,
DOB__________________. Sire_________________________________,
Dam_______________________________.
1. 2. The Buyer shall pay to the Breeder the sum of $________________ for the
cat and related expenses, i.e. Shipping, health certificate if applicable. A non
refundable deposit of $_________ is required upon acceptance of the terms and
conditions. The balance of $____________ must be paid one week prior to the
delivery or pick up of the kitten, or two weeks prior to shipping.
3. The Breeder and buyer acknowledge the cat is being purchased as:

1. 4. The buyer agrees that they will not authorize or permit the performance of
any type of surgical procedure for the purpose of removing any
of the cat’s claws. Breeder will void the full contract if the cat is declawed.
1. 5. The Buyer agrees that this cat will not be sold, leased or given to any
pet shop, research laboratory or similar facility and that the Breeder be
notified immediately of any intended disposition.
6. The Breeder retains the first option to re-adopt. If for breeding the Buyer
agrees not to resell or place the cat into any other cattery for breeding
purposes, unless authorized by Breeder.
7. The Buyer agrees that the cat will not be allowed outdoors unsupervised, or
the full contract is void.
8. The Buyer is responsible for a veterinarian health check within 3 working
days of possession of the cat to confirm the cat is in good health. If the Buyer
does not take the cat to the veterinarian for the required health exam in
specified time limit, the health guarantee is void.
9. The Breeder will supply the cat’s current health record, along with the
following guarantee:
(a) Cat is guaranteed for 48 hours against upper respiratory infection, ear
mites, fleas, worms and fungus.
(b) If the cat dies before one year of age from hereditary or congenital
defects, the Breeder agrees to replace the cat when buyer supplies proof of
defect in the form of a complete necropsy report.
(c) The Breeder guarantees the cat does not have FELV, FIV, or FIP at the time
of pickup, delivery, or shipment. 7 days after pickup, delivery we cannot
guarantee against FIP. Health contract is void if the cat receives the FELV or
FIP vaccinations, as we strongly suggest that any cat we sell not be given these
vaccinations
10. The Buyer is responsible for all veterinarian expenses incurred while cat is
in the Buyer’s care.
11. The Buyer’s signature below indicates full agreement and approval to all the
above terms and conditions.
